Narvalo is anti-pollution face mask that starts out as a university project, at the Politecnico di Milano, and is able to distinguish itself from other by participating and winning the acceleration program at Polihub (Polimi Incubator).

Initial research

We conducted a series of qualitative in-depth interviews to understand more about people’s needs and perspective when it comes to air-related risks and issues.

User test

We conduct a 3-week user test with 38 users in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the prototypes. The test was carried out through a diary study within a private facebook group. All participants had to complete 5 missions and leave specific feedback about the masks. At the end of the user test we analyze, clusterize all the insight emerged.
